Bonaparte’s Retreat is honored to partner with Sheriff Daron Hall and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office in its SECOND CHANCES Offender Dog-Training Program. On September 8, 2015, graduation ceremonies were held for the inaugural class of four rescued shelter dogs and eight female offenders. Every six to eight weeks, training sessions begin again for more rescued dogs and a new class of female offender-trainers. Upon graduating, the Second Chances dogs are adoptable from Bonaparte’s Retreat.
